Gritin Gen 2 32 LED Dual-Beam Clip-On Book Light

This little light is exactly what I was looking for. I use it with the warmest color setting to light my desktop keyboard when I'm working on my PC at night, when I don't want the brightness of a lamp. The clamp and gooseneck make it very easy to position. I'm still on my first charge of the battery, and I've used it for 25-30 hours, mostly on the lowest brightness setting. One reason I chose this unit is that the LEDs are spread out horizontally vs. vertically, which works better for my purposes. The main housing and clamp, as well as the light itself, are all made of plastic, but overall it feels well built. I'd buy it again and am very happy I chose this model.

Intro: I absolutely love these lights! I’ve purchased two Gritin clip-on lights previously in a different style, and I have been so impressed with them that Gritin has become my go-to brand for clip-on lights. I’ve gotten a ton of use out of my other Gritin lights, so I was excited to try this style as well. After using this one, I can confidently say that Gritin continues to make a solid, dependable product that I’m happy to recommend. It has 5 different color temperatures and 5 brightness levels, which is fantastic because I don’t always want the exact same type or intensity of light. Sometimes I want a soft, warmer light, especially when I’m reading at night, while other times I want something brighter and more natural. Being able to easily switch between the different settings makes this light incredibly versatile.The five brightness levels are also really useful. I can keep it dim when I only need a little extra illumination or turn it up when I need a brighter light. I love having that range because it means I’m not stuck with either a light that’s too dim to be useful or one that’s unnecessarily bright.Another feature I really appreciate is the adjustable wide and narrow beam. This is such a useful feature because you can decide exactly how concentrated you want the light to be. I can use the wider beam when I want to illuminate more of a page, or narrow it down when I only need a smaller, more focused area. It makes the light much more customizable than a basic clip-on reading light.And while this is marketed as a reading light, I use these for so much more than reading! Reading is definitely one of the things I use them for, but I also use them when writing in my journal. I really enjoy journaling at night, and having a small, focused light makes it so much easier to see what I’m writing without having to turn on all the lights in the room. It creates a nice little area of light exactly where I need it.That’s actually one of the reasons I love having Gritin lights around. They’re useful for all those little situations where you need some extra illumination but don’t necessarily want to use a full-size lamp. Whether I’m reading, journaling, looking at something closely, or just need some additional light, these are the lights I find myself reaching for.The clip-on design is another big plus. I love being able to attach the light where I need it and then adjust the position and angle. It’s convenient, compact, and doesn't require me to dedicate a lot of space to a lamp. The 1500mAh rechargeable battery is a great upgrade, and I much prefer rechargeable lights over ones that require disposable batteries. It’s simply more convenient to plug it in and recharge it when needed rather than constantly having to keep replacement batteries around. It makes this something I can actually use regularly without worrying about running through batteries.I also really like that this light gives you so many ways to customize the experience. Between the 5 colors, 5 brightness settings, adjustable beam width, and adjustable positioning, you can really set it up exactly how you like it. Everyone has different preferences when it comes to reading and writing lights, and I think having all these options makes this a much better choice than a light with only one brightness and one color setting.Most importantly, I’ve already had a great experience with Gritin products. Perfect light for diamond painting and crafting. The clip itself doesn't have the best grip, but absolutely serves its purpose.

The lighting in my room is horrible so I was wanting this so I can read in bed laying down in bad to read my bible. This was an amazing buy for that. I really like how it shows the charge with blue LED lights and it is easy to adjust the lighting if you need it.

La estoy utilizando sobre todo para leer por la noche y una de las cosas que más me gustan son las posibilidades de ajustar la luz. Tiene diferentes tonos, desde una iluminación más cálida hasta otra más fría, y varias intensidades para adaptarla según el momento. La intensidad más alta es prácticamente cegadora, pero precisamente por eso tienes margen de sobra para encontrar el nivel que te resulte cómodo.También me gusta poder ajustar el haz de luz y concentrarlo más o abrirlo según lo que esté leyendo. Al final, entre el tono y la intensidad, puedes graduarla completamente a tu gusto y elegir la combinación que mejor se adapte a cada necesidad.La batería recargable es otro punto a favor, y resulta muy cómoda para leer sin tener que encender una lámpara que ilumine toda la habitación.Le quito una estrella porque, aunque la lámpara funciona muy bien, me parece algo pesada para apoyarla directamente sobre el libro durante bastante tiempo. Se nota especialmente después de llevar un rato leyendo y creo que sería mucho más cómoda si fuese algo más ligera.
